House of the Cat Rescue is a 501(c) non-profit rescue organization that focuses on helping homeless cats & kittens in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
We intake cats from multiple different avenues including the streets, partnering organizations, and owner surrenders (when space allows).
Every cat that passes through our program is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, & thoroughly assessed both medically and behaviorally to ensure we are placing them into forever homes that best match their specific needs.
Our goal is to give every cat that we take in the best chance at a happy ending where they are loved and cherished.

We are dedicated to providing a second chance to felines in need through compassionate care and carefully screened adoptions. Every cat that enters our program is sterilized, vaccinated, tested for FIV/FeLV, treated for fleas & parasites, microchipped, & receives any additional necessary medical attention to ensure they are in their best health when being adopted into forever homes.
